My sons, ages 5 and 7, have many interests, but sports is a constant in their lives no matter the time of year. If you are shopping for a sports-loving kid in your own life, check out these ideas below.

Heads up: The Amazon affiliate links provided will earn me a small commission at no extra cost to you.

We actually received this game last Christmas and it quickly became our winter break go-to. You could argue this game doesn’t have much to do with actual football, but the football lingo and fast pace make it a win for any football-loving kid.

Promising Review: “For all the football lovers, especially kids... this is a fun family game. My son loves it, and we have a great time as a family. It’s easy to learn, a great value for the money, and easy to take anywhere you go. Great quality, portable.” $13.99

Ever since the World Series ended, my sons have been missing baseball something fierce. This game seems like a great way to bring their outdoor sport inside. See the review below for more reasons why this game seems great!

Promising Review: “Bought this as a Christmas stocking stuffer for one of our twins. He loves baseball but struggles with Auditory Processing Disorder. This game helps him to see the game, process, and understand what plays need to be made. Highly recommend.” $9.99

My kids already love Monopoly Deal, so when I saw they had an NFL version, it was a no-brainer.

Promising Review: “Easy to learn and quick, unlike normal Monopoly. The NFL theme makes it super fun. Also fun to play with two people, but definitely better with more.” $6.99

This game cost more than I would normally want to spend on a card game, but when you know your kid will love it and it will get them to stop asking to play a game on my phone, I had to try it.

Promising Review: “My family is a huge game night group! We were looking for some new games to play and found this one, and we have LOVED it. It combines our competitive spirits with our love for sports and games. It is easy to learn, fast-paced, and fun for all ages, so if you are looking for a new game to add to your game night collection, this is a must-have. In addition, it came packaged nicely and is good quality!” $19.95

This is another gift option we received last year that still continues to be a big hit in our house, so I figured I should throw it on the list. My son loves to read, but I am almost positive that even if he didn’t, he would still love this book. I have also learned (perhaps against my will) more about NFL and College football teams than I ever thought I would. At least I feel prepared now for any football sports trivia!

Promising Review: “My son loves stats and the history of teams and players. This book keeps his interest and encourages reading. He loves quizzing others on all of the facts.” $18.63
